PAIA Manual
Prepared in accordance with Section 51 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2000 (Act No. 2 of 2000) as amended.
1. Introduction
This manual is published in terms of Section 51 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act No. 2 of 2000 ("PAIA") and the Protection of Personal Information Act No. 4 of 2013 ("POPIA"). It provides information on how to submit a request for access to records held by Morriscom Solutions.

3. Guide on How to Use PAIA

4. Records Available Without a Request
The following categories of records are automatically available without a formal PAIA request:
- Information published on our website
- Marketing and promotional materials
- Service descriptions and pricing overviews
5. Records Held by Morriscom Solutions
Records are held on the following categories of data subjects:
- Clients: Contact details, project correspondence, contractual records
- Website visitors: Name, email, company, and message as voluntarily submitted via the contact form
- Suppliers: Contact and payment information
- Personnel: Employment records (if applicable)
6. Purpose of Processing Personal Information
Personal information is processed for the following purposes:
- Responding to enquiries submitted via the contact form
- Providing quotations and entering into contracts
- Rendering professional services
- Compliance with legal and regulatory obligations
- Internal administration and record-keeping
7. How to Submit a Request for Access
A requester must complete the prescribed form (Form C for private bodies) and submit it to the Information Officer at the address above. The form is available from the SAHRC website or the Department of Justice.
The request must include:
- Sufficient detail to identify the record(s) requested
- The form of access required
- The requester's identification and proof of identity
- The prescribed fee (if applicable)
8. Grounds for Refusal
Access to records may be refused on grounds including, but not limited to:
- Protection of the privacy of a third party (Section 63)
- Protection of commercial information (Section 64)
- Protection of confidential information (Section 65)
- Records that are privileged from production in legal proceedings (Section 67)
9. Availability of This Manual
This manual is available for inspection at no charge on this website. A copy may also be requested by emailing the Information Officer.
